ABOUT

The concept of a garden holds significant symbolism in the Bible, appearing in both the Old and New Testaments. Gardens in the Bible often represent places of abundance, beauty, and connection with God and nature. Here are a few key references to gardens in the Bible and their significance.

Prayer is communication with God. We do this by praising Him, confessing our sins before Him, thanking Him and asking Him for our needs and desires. Prayer is communion with our Creator. When we pray, we engage in loving fellowship with the Maker of heaven and earth.

The number 7 holds significant symbolism and meaning throughout the Bible. It is often associated with completeness, perfection, and divine order. In both the Old and New Testaments, the number 7 appears in various contexts, ranging from the creation narrative to the book of Revelation.

WHO WE ARE

MISSION

At the Garden of Prayer #7 Vision of Faith Ministries, our mission is to passionately pursue the presence of God, empower believers through the Holy Spirit, and share the transforming love of Jesus Christ with the world.

Our mission and purpose guide and inspire us as we seek to fulfill the Great Commission, lead lives of holiness, and experience the empowering presence of the Holy Spirit. Together, we worship, grow, serve, and share, united by our faith in Jesus Christ and the life-changing work of the Holy Spirit.

The Garden of Prayer #7 Vision of Faith Ministries warmly welcomes individuals from all walks of life to join us on this exciting journey of faith, as we seek to impact lives and transform communities through the power of the Gospel.

VISION

“The Garden,” as we affectionately call ourselves, is still on the move for the Lord.

In late 2016, Bishop Brown shared a new vision to erect a Youth Recreation Center and Gymnasium. The land was purchased in 2017, and the build-a-thon has begun.

In April 2023, Administrative Assistant Elder Mark W. Turner Sr. was appointed by Bishop Shadrack Brown Jr. to be the next Pastor and carry on the vision and legacy of helping to save souls.

While we are proud of our history, our most significant accomplishments come from doing God’s work.  And so, God’s work continues. To God, be the Glory!

VALUES

“Where The Spirit of Friendliness Meets All” summarizes the core values and principles of our church community. It suggests that our church is a place where every individual, regardless of background, beliefs, or circumstances, is welcomed with warmth, acceptance, and kindness. Our motto implies a commitment to equal access, hospitality, and fostering a sense of belonging among all people.

It emphasizes the importance of cultivating a spirit of friendship and fellowship within our church, where all people can connect, support each other, and grow spiritually together. Additionally, it signifies a desire when we outreach to everyone, we extend a hand of friendship, fellowship and welcome to all a sense of our church love, support, and spiritual guidance.
